Pilot Shocked in Atlanta

By Robert Mark on May 25th, 2007

I am shocked – shocked mind you – that some unscrupulous reader had the audacity to send in this photo with a note about the administration.

“Dear Jetwhine:

In yet another example of the ineptitude of the government people who manage our aviation system, I offer this photo of two 747s pointed directly at each other on a taxiway as a prime example.

One, I believe, is carrying the FAA Administrator, Marion Blakey, while the other happens to have DOT Secretary Mary Peters on board. Neither pilot can seem to figure out what to do next.

What do you suggest?

Signed,

Another happy airline customer”

Dear Happy Airline Customer:

So what’s your point?
