FAA Funding
Speaking to the Women in Aviation conference on Tuesday, FAA Administrator Marion Blakey repeated her agency’s call for a solid funding mechanism that more closely ties aviation system revenues to the cost of delivering services, in this case air traffic control.
I’ve yet to see anything anywhere that actually details out how much it costs FAA to deliver those services.
How do we vote yes or no to user fees needed to fund the system when we have no idea how much FAA might spend?
