Are tougher times ahead for Eclipse?
An FAA spokesman in Oklahoma City just confirmed an item that had been floating around the Eclipse Aviation Critic blog … the Eclipse fleet is grounded until further notice.
The recent Albuquerque news story that reported dozens of white tail Eclipse aircraft sitting on the ramp now makes much more sense.
One industry insider said the company has run into a problem with the wing attachment hardware and that the problem may require some serious reworking on Eclipse’s part.
