Will Friday be the day?
Sources say Joe LePore and Jan Paladino have been moved from Rio in order to meet with federal police officials in Sao Paulo Friday and reportedly to avoid the media. They are expected to leave Sao Paulo on a flight back to New York later in the day. Keep your fingers crossed.
What the two U.S. pilots leave behind however, is an ATC system in shambles in the largest of the South American countries. How that affects other aircraft that traverse the region knowing the system is flawed is unclear at this point.
Perhaps keeping your fingers crossed might be good advice here as well.
